For an overseas distributor evaluating packaged water suppliers in China, one question decides everything: where does the water actually come from, and can the supplier prove it? At Chun'an Qiandao Lake Renren Enterprise Co., Ltd., the answer has not changed since 1996. It comes from deep beneath the surface of Qiandao Lake, and three decades of inspection records, patents and system certifications stand behind every container shipped.

A Water Source That Does the Talking

Qiandao Lake spreads across roughly 57,000 hectares of water surface dotted with 1,078 islands, set inside about 356,000 hectares of forested mountains. Its 17.8 billion cubic meters of water, equivalent to 3,000 West Lakes, has consistently met China's Class I standard for drinking water sources. The deep, naturally flowing water we draw is filtered under high pressure, far removed from microbial and heavy-metal contamination, with a stable year-round temperature near 12°C, a mildly alkaline pH, dissolved oxygen of 7.5 to 9.68 mg/L, and naturally present potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and metasilicic acid.

Our plant operates directly on the lakeshore at No. 96 to 109, Zijing Road, Qiandaohu Town. The supplied aerial photograph shows the production base sitting beside the open water and shoreline cultivation beds, within the same landscape as the source, not hundreds of kilometers away from it as is common in the category. Water travels meters, not days, before processing begins.

Three Products Built Around One Industry Problem

Barreled water carries a structural weakness that source quality alone cannot fix: secondary contamination, repeated heating, non-compliant reused barrels and counterfeit refills. From 2001 onward we invested more than RMB 20 million in research and development and built 38 patented technologies, seven of them invention patents, to close that gap.

Xizi Sanqian Natural Low-Sodium Drinking Water. Source water drawn 20 meters below the surface near Mishan Island carries roughly 10 mg of sodium per liter. Using OSMO membrane separation, we hold the finished product at around 3 mg/L. That matters for buyers serving hypertension, heart, kidney and endocrine-sensitive consumers, and for parents reconstituting infant formula, where excess sodium places strain on immature kidneys. Production cost rises significantly; positioning stays accessible.

Xizi Sanqian Collapsible Barreled Water. The container collapses automatically as water is drawn, so no air enters and the interior stays in a vacuum from first pour to last. Each 10 L container weighs only 100 g, averaging 10 g of PET per liter, more than 70% lighter than a rigid non-collapsible barrel. Single use eliminates container-cleaning risk; a collapsed barrel cannot be refilled, which removes counterfeit and reused-barrel exposure at the root; and the thin transparent wall requires virgin PET, leaving no space for non-compliant dark containers. For distributors, no deposit, no return logistics, no deposit refunds, and collapsed empties cut storage, handling and freight volume dramatically.

Xizi Sanqian Secondary-Contamination-Free Instant Hot Water Dispenser. Three-second heating with no repeated boiling, a fully enclosed water circuit with vacuum dispensing, five temperature settings and four volume settings, high-flow ambient water for cooking, steam-water separation to prevent splashing, a non-dripping spout, a 180° rotatable body for easy container changes, a large color display and switchable button or AI voice control. Protected under Patent No. ZL 2015 1 0720875.3.

A separate line applies Professor Jin Riguang's patented process, Chinese invention Patent No. ZL02130825X, winner of the 2005 Eureka World Invention Gold Award. Water clusters are broken down through an ultra-high-shear turbine-screw refiner and energized through an alternating strong magnetic field, holding the 17O NMR spectral linewidth at or below 60 Hz while retaining mild alkalinity and antioxidant activity.

Manufacturing Depth and Quality Systems

Our integrated production base runs advanced water treatment and filling lines with a combined capacity of 53,000 bottles and containers per hour. Quality management began early: ISO 9001 certification was obtained in 2000, followed by ISO 14001 environmental management, ISO 22000 food safety, ISO 45001 occupational health and safety, HACCP and social responsibility management system certification. Every container passes 16 process steps from source extraction to finished pallet, and the company has maintained a 100% pass rate in product sampling inspections for 30 consecutive years.

Compliance You Can Verify

Cross-checks through Credit China, the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System, AiQicha and Qichacha show no administrative penalties, no failed food-safety sampling penalties, no environmental, tax or market-regulation fines, no abnormal-operation listings and no credit-related dishonesty records. The company holds all required administrative permits for beverage production, food packaging and environmental impact assessment for technical renovation, and is the only manufacturer among drinking water enterprises in Chun'an with no water-quality penalties and no regulatory fines. The supplied certificate image documents a National Industrial Product Production License covering food-contact plastic packaging containers and related articles, issued for our Zijing Road address and valid through January 15, 2031.

Recognition includes National High-Tech Enterprise status in 2021, Zhejiang Green Enterprise in 2009, Zhejiang Famous Trademark for Xizi Sanqian in 2011, the 2017 Best Technological Innovation Award in China's Packaged Water Industry, selection as one of China's recommended waters for tea brewing in 2019, and a principal drafting role in T/ZJFIA 001-2019 Packaged Natural Drinking Water, the Zhejiang Food Industry Association group standard.

Where These Products Fit

Office hydration programs, where 10 L collapsible containers reduce storage footprint and eliminate barrel handling. Baby-safe drinking water, where controlled sodium matters. Tea brewing and specialty coffee, where mineral balance and stable pH shape extraction. Hospitality, clinics and senior care, where single-use containers answer hygiene audits. Retail and e-commerce bundles pairing dispensers with recurring water supply. Retailers and importers building private-label low-sodium ranges will find a supplier whose patents, standards work and inspection history can carry an on-pack story.

What Serious Buyers Should Verify

Certificates are the entry ticket, not the proof. Ask how source water is protected, how containers are handled between filling and delivery, and whether a barrel can physically be refilled. Carbonated sustainability claims collapse under freight math: collapsible formats cut shipping volume and plastic mass per liter, which shows up in landed cost and in a buyer's own environmental reporting. Low-sodium positioning is also moving from niche health claim to mainstream shelf category, and suppliers who engineered for it early hold the formulation advantage.
